Directions: This dial can just be seen in the distance at the far end of The High Street as you emerge from the Cathedral Close via the High Street Gate. Approach the dial along the High Street and through the pedestrian passage with St Thomas's Church on your right. The slate sundial is above the first floor windows of a building now used as a Solicitors' premises.

Alternatively, on foot, from Broadmead, make your way to the back of Debenhams and cross the St James Barton roundabout to Marlborough Street by the underpass. You will find Charles Street nearby, behind the modern office block. Charles Wesley's House is Number 4, a short distance up the street on the left.

Marlborough Street / Charles Street is also very close to the Bus Station (turn right at the main entrance and cross Marlborough Street below the Hospital), and the St James Barton NCP (turn right, cross the A38 to Marlborough Street by the underpass).
